Bower Collective offer cosmetic and cleaning products to consumers with a similar material recapture system in place to Upcircle. Requiring pouches to be sent back to be refilled is reliant on the behaviour of the customer, however Bower Collective remove this barrier by providing prepaid letter-box-friendly envelopes so that users can more easily collect and return their pouches at which point they are not simply recycled, but rather refilled and sent out to new customers.
