How does Gomi integrate design for disassembly

The Gomi speaker is designed and handmade in the UK. Design for disassembly underpins the design of the speaker. It has been designed to be manufactured without glue or permanent fixings meaning parts can easily be repaired or upgraded prolonging the speakers lifespan. When you purchase a speaker it comes with a repairs for life guarantee.

How is this an example of recycling?

Gomi manufactures the speaker casing, using difficult to recycle items such as plastic bags and bubble wrap, diverting these items from landfill and preventing the need for virgin material.

Gomi uses repurposed batteries from e-bikes to power the speaker. These second hand batteries are still in great condition at the end of the e-bikes life and repurposing prolongs their lifespan further.
